Study in the U.S.A.

Group of students

The U.S. Mission to Pakistan supports an extensive range of educational, cultural, and exchange programs to connect the Pakistani and American peoples. We support the largest U.S. government-funded Fulbright program in the world, which sends 150 Pakistanis each year to U.S. universities  – 100 to earn their master’s degrees and 50 to earn PhDs.  We also sponsor 800 Pakistanis each year to travel on exchange programs – from high school students who spend a year at a U.S. high school to professionals who connect with their American counterparts.  As a result, Pakistan is home to the largest network of alumni of U.S. government-funded exchange programs in the world.  We also support extensive English language learning opportunities, a nationwide network of Lincoln Corners, which are resource centers to learn about the United States, and a broad range of connections in the arts, cultural heritage,  music,  film, and creative writing.  Read further for more details on programs that might apply to you!
