Event: Update #27 – U.S. Government Charter Flights for the Week of April 20
As of 5:00 p.m. (Pakistan Standard Time), the U.S. Mission to Pakistan continues to call U.S. citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents to confirm seats on this week’s U.S. government charter flights departing Karachi and Islamabad to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). We will continue to contact those who completed the TRAVELER INTEREST FORM to ensure every seat is full.
PLEASE REMEMBER that we need to speak with at least one member of a traveling party by telephone. There are still many U.S. citizens that completed the form, but whose phone is turned off or who don’t answer when we call. Ensure your phone is turned on and be ready to answer when we call. If we call you and you do not answer, we will move to the next person.
If you have submitted the TRAVELER INTEREST FORM in the last 24 hours, please do not call or email the Embassy. We have your information and will process it as soon as possible. Your patience is appreciated.
A reminder that this is a U.S. government charter flight to repatriate U.S. citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents to the United States. United States citizens and their immediate family members, followed by Lawful Permanent Residents, will receive priority for all flights. We are unable to accommodate requests from citizens of other countries who normally live outside the United States.
Finally, please review our April 18 Health Alert Update #25 to find the answers to many of your questions about the flight.
