Secretary of State John Kerry Travel to Pakistan

Islamabad, January 12, 2015

Today, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry landed in Islamabad, Pakistan, where he will meet with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and co-chair the U.S.-Pakistan Strategic Dialogue Ministerial with Pakistan’s Advisor to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz.

The Ministerial, the second since the revitalized Strategic Dialogue was announced during Secretary Kerry’s August 2013 visit to Pakistan, serves to advance shared interests in a stable, secure, and prosperous Pakistan and acknowledge the U.S.-Pakistan partnership’s role in promoting regional and international security.
