Event: The U.S. Consulate General in Karachi reminds U.S. citizens that terrorist groups continue plotting possible attacks in Pakistan. Due to security concerns, unofficial movements of U.S. Consulate personnel have been restricted for the period including the last two weeks of Ramadan and Eid. Included in these travel restrictions are a variety of public locations such as hotels, markets and shopping malls. Additional restrictions on U.S. personnel movement may be put in place at any time.
