Location: Islamabad, Pakistan
Event: Public processions will be held in Islamabad on Sunday, May 26, and in other parts of the country on Monday, May 27, 2019, related to Youm-e-Ali. Increased police presence is anticipated throughout the capital and especially in the vicinity of the scheduled procession in the G-6 sector. Mobile phone services are likely to be suspended along the route of the procession. The procession in Islamabad will start at Imam Bargah Sector G-6/2 at 16:00 hours and will conclude at Imam Bargah Zenobia G-6/4 at 20:00 hours. The following road closures are expected from 16:00 to 20:00 hours on Sunday, May 26.
