The United States provided 11 state-of-the-art ambulances to health authorities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa this year. These newly-equipped ambulances from USAID Pakistan will assist the KP Department of Health respond to and combat the spread of COVID19. In addition to the ambulances, the U.S. government is training health care providers, procuring laboratory and emergency supplies as well as strengthening monitoring and better equip communities nationwide to identify potential COVID-19 outbreaks.
