Demonstration Alert

U.S. Consulate Lahore (November 15, 2018)

 

 

Location:  Lahore, Mall Road, between Avari Chowk and Nasir Bagh

 

Event:  U.S. Consulate Lahore cautions that beginning 11:00am on November 15, 2018, a large demonstration is expected in Lahore along Mall Road.  Mall Road will be closed from Avari Chowk through Nasir Bagh.  Expect heavy police presence and closed businesses and schools along the demonstration route.  

 

Actions to take:

 

Avoid demonstrations.

Avoid crowds.

Keep a low profile.

Be aware of your surroundings.

Monitor local media for updates.
